Summer 2011 FIZZBANG goes with a BANG!

on Sat, 04/06/2011 - 7:31pm

What a great time we had at FIZZBANG this time studying the life of Joseph over 4 days at Burniston Church. We had on average 18 children. We had the random hedgehog, the random dice, the random balloon and our great intro song:

It’s a brand new day at the Fizzbang Club
Give your nose a tickle and your belly a rub
Rubbit Rubbit Rubbit
Rubbit Rubbit Rubbit
Even though it’s raining and their aint no sun
We’re here to have a lot of FUN!
Fun Fun Fun
Fun Fun Fun
So clap your hands
Stamp your feet
Raise your hands
To the Fizzbang beat

and of course the Tobias verse:
Its a great new day at the Fizzbang club
so we'll have some drink and eat some grub
EAT IT EAT IT EAT IT
EAT IT EAT IT EAT IT
So clap your hands tickle your nose
clap your hands wiggle your toes
Eat some chocolate smell your feet.
I'll tell you something they dont smell sweet.
DO THEY DO THEY DO THEY
DO THEY DO THEY DO THEY
So clap your hands tickle your nose
clap your hands wiggle your toes.

Fizzbux were generously given out by the Princess of da Fizzbux - Lozzpotnoodle. Muchos gracias to her for doing the crafts + loads of other stuff. Thanks also to Debs, Val, Hannah, Sharon, Katherine. God bless you all.

On the first day we learnt about the PRIDE of JOSEPH and the JEALOUSLY of the bros.

On the second day we learnt about the pain of being WRONGFULLY ACCUSED and were reminded how Jesus reacted on the Cross.

On the third day Jospeh is released from prison and were reminded of how good things happen to those who wait patiently for God.

On the fourth day we learnt of FORGIVENESS and how Joseph was a changed man. His dreams were fulfilled

Starring also was Nick Welford, Dan Dufton, and James Welford in a TGA News DVD we made back in 2004... good to get the 'ole thing an airing!

My own personal lesson is that we must never lose sight of our dreams even when they seem lost - even when we blow it. God will fulfil our dreams and in the dark times we are being changed. Just as Joseph's dreams were still on hold - he was being transformed from ego-centricity to God-centricity so with us. Then comes the fulfilment of the dream and God gets all the glory:o)
